Cool rides....I didn't count how many of each kind of bike there were, but  I figured it would be Cervelo-fest. Turns out that Cervelo probably had the most, but there were more QROO's, Felts, Treks, and Cannondales than I thought. And good to see an Elite, Guru, and a smattering of Kuotas and Specialized.

katiamomma's and pink leopard's bikes get the tricked out awards, and gparris is kicking it old-skool. Nice.

Thanks for the pics, Aaron.

Question about a bike.....

Look at the #452 - jmoreland picture....at the very bottom there is a an aerobar pad from an adjacent bike.  Is that on backwards?  If not, then mine are.

Greg Parris has a road bike Louisville guy. Which brings me to the question I ride these hills and rollers all the time would you have prefered a road bike on this course for better climbing?

Looks like the bike is facing the camera, so it's fine.

Question though - see lots of helmets on the bikes.  Were they allowed to be put on the bikes at T1 instead of the T1 bag?

As long as they were attached to the bikes, they said it was fine. I put mine in my bag just in case it got knocked off or something and they tossed it away. And I was lucky being in the 2nd row, so I just ran to my bike barefoot and then got shoes and socks on there. Had maybe 40 feet to run from my bike to the concrete in my shoes.

OK, I see it now.  You're right, the pix is facing the camera.

RE the helmets....they said just make sure they were secured to the bike so they didn't blow off.  You could put your helmet and/or your shoes on the bike (not the ground) at bike check-in or on race morning....but you could not access your bags on race morning.
