I say no it isn't.  On Saturday October 25th Kelly and I would like to invite any and all BT'ers and family out to our place again.  Just a little informal get together to rehash the years activities, plan for next years and maybe just brag a little.   Planning on doing a group ride beforehand if the weather is even close to decent.  (Yes this is a little selfish, I'm in serious jeapordy of not meeting Oct training goals and could use a group to help push me along towards the end of the month) I have a nice 16 mile loop ride that could be done once or twice.  Was thinking of riding by 2:00 and then getting back to the house for food and refreshments from 4:00 to whenever.  I'll fire up the grill and stoke the bonfire and we'll let the logistics take care of itself.  Sooooo, anyone in?

Yippee!  I'm in (and Bob too, I am sure).  I have a 10k that morning (Great Pumpkin trail race at Lake Elmo, if anyone wants to come), but that should be done with enough time to ride.  I'll figure out the timing and let you know about that part when it gets closer.

Sounds like fun, I'm in. Good chance to meet the BT'ers.

Tentative IN.

My road bike is torn apart right now, so I'll have to ride my tri bike.

Sounds like a good time.  I'll talk to Cindy and see how the schedule works out.  Let us know what we can bring.

This was planned specifically to get you in the country setting Sal.  Don't you be ditching on me again.  Need to hear you talk about your BQ run at Whistlestop

Apparently the Halloween party we're going to is on that day so we definitely cannot stay for food.  But, I am going to see if we can manage the bike ride.  I'll let you all know.

It'll be a cold day in MN before I ever get a BQ!  PR on the otherhand...

Whoot, whoot!  I'm kind of tentative, but only slightly.  Brian Cain (Caincando) is also having an open house that day.  I'll have to work on the logistics, but I'm pretty sure I can swing it.  It'll be great to see you guys again!

I will post directions later.  But for those who have no idea where we live, it is approximately 30 miles south of Minneapolis between the cities of New Prague and Lakeville.

I'd like to make it, but as my wife has a better handle on what we're doing from week to week don't count on me for sure yet.

Do you think I'd get in trouble for skipping my sister's wedding to go to a BT bonfire?

Does she do triathlons?  Could she switch to a triathlon-themed wedding?  She still has over a week left to make last minute changes.

I'll give you her phone number and you can go ahead and suggest that. If you do decide to call her, its been nice knowing you.

Uh...no, that's o.k.  I learned the hard way once that there's a difference between the colors 'lilac' and 'dusty rose.'  Permanently ingrained in my memory now.

I don't go there.

There is definitely a possiblility that I maybe will or will not be able come.  As for the ride before hand, I'll skip it since I really don't want to get my bike ready (I hate dusting).

Looks like it will be a pretty darn nice day on Saturday.  Anybody going to be able to make it out to the sticks?  I'll plan on an easy paced ride around 2:00 or so and then the rest at 4:00.  I'll post directions to our place in another thread in a few days.

I'll be able to make the get-together at 4pm, but will probably have to decline on the ride.

I am helping a scout in my son's troop with an Eagle project at 1pm (MN river cleanup).  It should go until 3 or 4pm.

Sadly, I am not going to be able to make it. :-( I have another commitment that day, and I just can't get the logistics to work out...  I know I'll be missing a great time!
