I was once told, on this forum, that I needed a better helmet.  I had a white one that was always kattywankus as it was too big

So, I bought a pink paisley one today.   maybe sissy,  but I like it.   And if anyone calls me a sissy - I will beat them up.  So, there.

What is on YOUR head?

Bell Alchera. I just bought it this week. I think the paint job counts as "racing stripes".

I always spelled the word "catty-wampus" in my head; don't think I ever had occasion to write it down before now. But I like your spelling too.

A bright yellow Bell.  Mostly for hi-visibility.

I wear a pink paisley one as well. I have a purple bike and my favorite bike jersey is a pink and purple swirly design. You can still be an athlete and have cute clothes, too! Oh! I also have a pink and purple trisuit from JAM! So it's all fun! My best friend and partner in tris recently bought pink running shoes! We were so excited!

Well, I like the design of the JAM suits, but cannot bring myself to wear those colors all over.  I think the pink helmet is the only pink item of clothing I own.....   I hope JAM comes out with some other colors.

Ooo, I had a helmet just like the one shown in the photo posted by Vortmax. However, I gave up road biking for about a year, didn't care for all this junk lying around, and ended up giving the helmet to my sister. Wish I had it now. I'm currently riding with my Mtn Bike helmet, which is a Giro. Of course, it matches my new road bike - silver, grey and black.

Wanted a cool one but had to settle for something that would fit my fat head and still the budget. Plain blue kinda matches my Torpado.
