Ok, just so you know: you MAY wear your triathlon t-shirt for the next 5 days in a row (but please wash it when necessary); you may wear any finisher's medal for the next two weeks also; if you haven't washed the numbers off, don't - just wash around them until they fade away. Enjoy the next week - then get back in there for the NEXT one! |

I grew up in Boerne, so I went to Aquarena Springs as a kid (when it was an amusement park kind of thing and they had the underwater show with the mermaids and the swimming PIG!!! Not sure if that's still there or not). And I had forgotten all about hydrilla, but I quickly remembered. It clogs many lakes and streams in TX. That would have TOTALLY freaked me out to swim through that stuff, so great job keeping your cool. |
