Subject: WOO HOO!OK first... yes I meant to start this thread.  I just got back from the gym. 4 weeks post op. Doc said I could do a stationary bike/lift light weights. Got on the recumbent in disgrace, level 4 destroyed me in 20 minutes. It was actually really nice. Got my HR up to 150, and it even had a little cut out in the back. Lifted some weights, then got in the pool to see how that felt. Thinking about aqua jogging... uh no. Wound up killing 500 meters in 11 minutes.  It felt really good. I have not had any endorphines in while. I'm feeling pretty mellow, we shall see how it is in the morning.  Sorry if I have been more annoying than normal lately. Honestly, I have been going a little bat poop crazy sitting around. Little down and depressed... but now it is on like Donkey Kong. Two days w/o pain meds. Time to get off my butt! |
