So who's in and where are we going? I thought after bike check-in we could all meet up.

I'm in.  I know two years ago when I did this race we went to the Chancery by the Interstate.  That worked pretty well as they had kind of a special pre-race menu (noodles, salads, GU, Cliff Bars, ).

I'm not staying down there overnight so I would like to not be out too late.  Any chance we could start earlier than 6:00?

I soooo am going to try to convince my friend to go here, but it is probably hopeless.  If I was driving, I would be there without question.  But, he's driving, so that means I have very little say, you know, with the recession and high gas prices and all...

If not, I'll look for all the BT'ers, donkeys, etc, on race morning, although, if you haven't met me yet, I'll be the real nervous looking one running to the bathroom every 2 minutes...either that or I'll be bouncing off the bike racks!

You will do great...one tip though...don't waste your time standing in line for the bathroom...just pee in the wetsuit...much easier! See ya Sunday...we will be sporting the donkai gear!

But, you have to wait in line in order to get to the bathroom to do #2.  Just sayin'.

I've met very few Donkai myself, so I'd say I'm right there wit' ya except I haven't met you yet either.

Learned this a while ago.  Always hit a gas station or McDonald's during the drive on the way to the race.  #2 issues are always better with no line at either of these options compared to the portable crappers!

We most likely will be there.  Chancery works out good for us.

Looking forward to DonkeyFest VII (sounds about right).

Thanks for the mention, but:
A. We have a birthday party that evening in Cedarburg, and
2. I eat gluten-free, so I wouldn't be able to partake of Chancery deliciousness.

Perhaps I'll see you there?

would have loved to, but have to work half day at W&S, and I took the 1-5. Previous years at PP if you get there at all near the end, you get whatever shirt size is left! (I have a few PP tents in my closet!) Will see you all bright and early Sunday!

They don't give you the size you ordered?  I think it is a fleece this year per the website.

WHizzz said it's an ``ugly fleece'' ... but, if you think about it, other than blue and silver ones that have `Dallas Cowboys' on it, is there any other kind of fleece?

I believe the latter falls under FUGLY fleece.

Table reserved under Mark W at the Chancery at 6:00.  If you can't get there right away that's fine.  Come when you can.
