Now I live in a townhouse and am dying for a dog, but I would not want to be that cruel to a sporting pet. Plus, my wife is allergic to dogs and cats. Although, I have heard really great things about the Labradoodle breeds that are supposed to be hypoallergenic. |

Murphy (see avatar) is a German Shorthaired Pointer/Beagle mix....or at least that's what the humane society thought. Mutts generally have all the problems of purebreds bred out of them and are generally healthier. Murphy's a GREAT running partner and coach. So far our longest runs are 3.5 miles. Think he could go longer but that my limit. MUTT....MUTT.....MUTT!!!!! |

First one to greet me in the morning, greets me at the door, just plain wants to be by my side. Extremely well behaved. Just one plain old good dog. |

I have two that I will run with, but the only problem is that when they are ready to stop they will just flop down and won't move. |
