My co-worker just told me he's lost 22 pounds in the last three months! His wife and son did a half marathon this year and it inspired him to start running. He is always asking about my runs and telling me I inspire him, too. Awesome!

What good things are going on in your life?

had a ridiculous record ride (for me) last night - pacing just over 18mph for a 22 mile ride.  good confidence builder going into my olympic.

spending a weekend away in the mountains - can't wait!

cleaned my house last night.  (reversed that this morning trying to find an outfit though)

might be getting some side work as a personal trainer from coworkers, woot.

I am being productive! I have a schedule, I have places to go and people to see and things to do. This makes me very happy.

I started volunteering for a campaign for US Senate, as well as with Organizing for America. I also got an interview arranged for next week!

Suddenly and unexpectedly, it looks like I might be assistant Cross Country coach for a school where I would love to get my foot in the door. A week ago, this wasn't even on my radar.

I just swtched to Geico and saved a bunch of money?

No, that's not it. But... The STBX and I have actually come to agreement on financials, and will be filing within the week. There are only a couple of things that are in possible disagreement, but so far everything has been easy sailing, and things are amicable. Should be said and done by the end of the month.

Talking to the kids is another story entirely.

And... I've had yesterday and now today off of work because my daughter is here and her daycamp isn't running (local schools are in session already, my daughter's doesn't start 'til bext week), so... That makes a FIVE DAY weekend for me!

I love this thread too! YAY!

It's been a relatively quiet week - but that's a good thing!

On the weekend I got to reconnect with some good friends from highschool. We had a great time throwing a shower/bachelorette for one of them!

Work is good and I am getting some good progress! :D

My poochie (seen in avatar) seems to be healing her sore back leg (we're still not sure what happened)

We won our first home volleyball match last night!  Swept them in three, and I got to play all my girls at least some.  =)

Great job, coach!

Apparently I learned from an email today that I am entitled to a large inheritance from a gentleman in Kenya.  I will be quitting my job and buying a very expensive tri bike.  On credit of course.

Having lunch today with an old friend and his wife who I haven't seen in years.  Hoping to run after my 17 month year old and 4 year old this weekend.  Watch my Nittany Lions play the Mighty Akron Zips!

My Knee is still feeling better after a few more runs and some rather long walks with the dogs.

My sister in law finally had her baby on Wednesday (ok in all fairness she was 1 day early BUT she had to have a C-section due to the baby being Breach but she get to go home today and the whole family is doing well.)

Learned last night that my dog (not the one in the picture) can jump on top of our stove without knocking anything over in order to eat the pasta sauce of the pan.

Saw the 2010 felt line up and am excited because I really want one.

My wife finally talked to me about what is going on at least a smidgeon and so things are looking better there. She is actively looking for another teaching position again and is feeling a bit better.

Finished the 2010 Revenue, Profit and Expense Plans as well as the Reforecast for 2009 on time and with a 70 page Powerpoint to explain it all.  Woohoo.  I have worked 14 days solid to make it happen, due to the herding of cats ( I mean department heads) making it difficult.

My son ended summer day camp and had a wonderful time all summer at the YMCA due to the great camp counselors!!
