less than 1:30 hrs away, I can't hardly wait, it should be a great race.

My favorites are Simon Withfied from Canada or Javier Gomez from Spain. I like Kemper as well but I don't think is going to be in top shape as those two. Beavan Docherty could also be in contention for the Kiwis, Atkinson for the Aussies, Poulat for the French, Don for Great Britain and Unger for Germany

It is way past my bedtime and I won't even last that long if I try. So, I'll just go to bed. I do have a morning workout tomorrow and can't miss it because it's supposed to rain in the afternoon (bike workout).

I'm bummed about missing it, though .

GO Courtney Go Brad!

don't think the aussie boys will be able to match the aussie girls performance yesterday.  But anything can happen.

I think Gomez might just pull out a gold medal performance.

Ok, I understand that triathlon isn't really a spectator sport, but are they seriously going to preempt coverage of tri for trampoline?

I just wondered the same thing...that's quite a gap in width between them.

What is with that group of like 4 guys swimming apart from the rest of the swimmers?

It's from having such a wide start.. Do they risk swimming extra meters to get with the big group or just meet them at the first turn? Decisions Decisions..

I would go just meet up with them at the turn also.

They were like 4 drafting groups in the womens race - the came together at the turn bouy.

OK I gotta stay away from this thread.  I can't watch it "live" on the web at work and I won't get home until 2 AM so I'm hoping I can watch the web replay tomorrow morning.

That makes sense (I didn't see the women's swim).

For all the "talk" that triathletes don't need to kick, look at all the kicking they are doing.  I think more triathletes need to watch the pros and learn from them.
