So I’m the course of my job (working in downtown Los Angeles) I get a lot of “on business” customers. This girl blew my doors off; cute, sweet, nice and all that! She is leaving on Tue, and we are “hanging out” Monday night. (The night before she leaves). What is a cool “first” (most likely only) date ideas. (I just want to have a good time..... and show her a good time, but not lame like “lets go to a fancy dinner……”) ideas?

What time on Tuesday does she leave??   Perhaps cook her breakfast.  WAIT, you can cook can't  you??   I mean BEAR just called you a linguini genius so I figured you can cook.

Otherwise, don't be afraid to ask what she's done in the area and what she'd like do do or see, yet hasn't had the time.  It shows interest in HER INTERESTS and you get easy ideas of things to do.   If money in tight for you, then you can pick the least expensive of the things she hasn't done.

Easy as that.  Have FUN

If she's there 'on business' then she probably only gets to see the 'tourist' side of town.  Take her to some of the 'locals only' spots.  'George Washington' drank a beer here type places.  My ex-BF and I went to San Fran/Napa valley, where he grew up.  He took me on a car tour of the city at sunset, to his fav burrito place, we hiked the mountain he grew up on, found little delicacies you can only find out West to snack on ... .  You seem the creative type.  String a few gem places together ... she might be back 'on business' again soon!  Good luck!

Where's she from? Has she gotten to the ocean? Take her to a nice beach. Grab a bite at a local restaurant then go for a walk along the beach. For us inlanders the ocean is where it's at.

Now to translate the above for you

Weres heef rawm? Hashish godden tooth oshin? Taker toe anice bitch.... I don't know how you do it - this is too difficult

Go to Universal City Walk. There's some fun restaurants and then you go to Howl at the Moon (it's a piano bar...I love that place b/c I love music and really love singing along to music).

Are there any restaurants that are restaurant by day, cool dance place by night. There's a lot of those in this area, although they usually aren't on Monday nights. Usually it's just Fri and Sat nights that they push the tables aside after dinner hour and turn it into an awesome dance place (usually cultural dancing, like salsa or something).

Do any of the parks (D-land or Six Flags) have reduced admission for evenings? Sometimes they're cheaper after 5 or something...that could be fun. It's engaging in that it keeps you occupied and stuff, but unlike a movie, you'll have the opportunity to talk to each other.

And, if she's only been in LA a short time, ask her what she wants to do.

Good luck and have fun!!

Show her around Pauley Pavilion, Fowler Museum, Royce Hall, Ackerman Union, and the Bear.

Then catch a bite to eat in westwood and watch a movie.

That's why it's a '***' statement.  How the hell do I know where George Washington drank?  I might have cleared 35, but I'm not THAT old!  And BTW.  He was a damn cheapskate!  Skipped out more than once I can tell you.  Or not.

It's simple, say "I wanted take you to do something wild like skydiving, but let's face it, you dig me, I dig you, let's just go to my place and see what happens" as you leer at her suggestively. If you can manage to be wearing skintight red leather pants while you say this, so much the better.

somehow I imagine telling her "Hey baby lets go back to my place so you can eat my sausage" would not be such a good idea.

but if it's the only time you see her, it may be worth a shot
