I don't even know where to start in commenting on these.

Looks like it came from my hometown.

And I am afraid to admit i can do this from memory, but...

Jeff Foxworthy defined being a redneck as "a glorius absence of sophistication". 

I grew up in a small town of about 2000 people, and this type of person usually hasn't experienced anything else so they are sometimes not aware that they are differing from society's usual standards, but when they find out... they still usually don't care.  Thing about this is, these are the probably kind of people who would give you the shirt off their back or share dinner with you if you had none.  Or bail you out of jail after your last bender 

I half expected to find Tom Arnold hosting this event : "My Big Ol' Redneck Wedding"

I think my favorite pictures are:

(1) the t-shirt that says "christian chics praise the Lord"

(2) the bride and groom with the 2 kids, one kids picking his nose

do you need a passport to go to the South?

So which were these? It's still unclear to me...

It almost makes me wonder if it's real or not.  You never can tell with the Internet.  If if it is fake - THAT WAS GREAT!!!

Troo... I would have to say they are borlderline WT...or, as people in my biz like to say..."Whiskey Tango."

I'll give you some examples of how to tell them apart.

Redneck: drinks beer, throws cans in the back of the truck.

White Trash: Drinks beer, tosses cans on ground.

White Trash: On welfare...because they can.

Rednecks- Bust their @zz ten hours a day, might still be on welfare, but is not really proud of it, and will to hide the fact as much as possible.

A redneck will remove the cigerette form their mouth while talking to you... white trash...not so much.

Rednecks got their name form busting their but out in the feilds in the hot summer sun. White Trash will not have necks that are red, from sitting around in the single wid with the window A/C unit blowing full blast....

Oh Sh*t... based on those standards I was technically considered WT in the summer of 99 - while pregnant with first child living in single wide with single window AC blasting  while husband did his army officer training.  LMAO - the ceiling fan blade even fell off 1 night and flew across room and snacked me in the head.

Glad that I no am a member of either RN or WT group!  I'm moving on up.

As my sister said, and I quote:

"Yee-haw!  It's the red neck life fer me!  My youngens done seen this here weddin' and asked thur Daddy for a weddin' just like it when they's about 18 too!  'Course Daddy told 'em he shoot pert near any boy with his shot gun ifin he came a courtin'."

I think she's spent too much time in the South. 

Gotta say, this was one of the best descriptors of the two I have ever come across. I struggled hard to define the difference for my (not entirely sympathetic) New England friends. All rednecks are not white trash, and many work a damn sight harder than my elite-college-educated friends in their cushy jobs making plenty of money. Not that I'm sorry I'm a grad school graduate making not nearly enough money, but I have a lot of respect for a lot of rednecks out there, even if I don't share their particular brand of fun.

And I gotta say, I MISS WAFFLE HOUSE!!!!
