(True story....our department was teamed with the business dept. for a charity event, so we were Team BIT. I convinced our faculty advisor to enter our name in binary. We were the only ones who saw the humor..... No one else has a sense of humor, I suppose.) |

Let me just say how envious of my coworker I am, because HE got FiOS service from Verizon, and they don't offer it in my area yet. Grrrr........ He told me the installer guy said that Verizon was talking about bumping the rate up to 25MB down, 5MB up. For something like $30-40 a month. |

You can't watch any movie without picking apart the scientific aspects they are butchering in it. There are some movies that you have to turn off, not because they are boring or too gorey, but because they are so absolutly wrong that you are getting pissed off and verbally abusive with the TV. |

There are some movies that you have to turn off, not because they are boring or too gorey, but because they are so absolutly wrong that you are getting pissed off and verbally abusive with the TV. Actually, said movie was more documentary-like than anything. And it talks about more than just quantum physics and theory. It's called "What The *&%$ Do We Know?", and I enjoyed it. They also have a website, www.whatthebleep.com Check it out sometime. |
