SuperFrog Triathlon : Official Thread

I love the course! The Ocean entry can be challenging because you have to do it twice. Definitely pays to work a bit on your entry technique and exit technique in highish surf conditions. The bike is flat and if there is no wind (last two years not too bad) fast. The run is misery. Fun mental challenge! It's hot- half of it is on the beach and if you hit the wrong tide (last year) a lot of it is on loose sand. Being in California I can train in that environment so it fits me well. I love the tie in to the Seals because I am an ex Army Ranger and I feel the brotherhood! It's a back to basics type of race- well organized but not the pomp and circumstance of an M Dot event- nice change.
