So.... the idea of this challenge is simple - to STICK TO YOUR PLAN, whatever that is.

Set your goals for time or distance in any or all of the following categories: swim, bike, run, strength....there is one going on for Feb. right now that I just love, so with permission haha, I will continue with another stick to the plan for March.

Hey Amanda   Good idea !

I plugged in a  BT  Olympic plan with run focus  .  Great for volume guidelines  and   suits  what time i have available .  So its a good fit .

300 mins swim

660 mins bike

500 mins run

Last month was fun, so I'm in.  (I think this makes 3 March challenges for me.  Is there a "how many challenges can you be in at once" challenge?)

Here's my March goals:

Swim 177 min (2hr 57min)

Bike 356 min (5hr 56min)

Run 174 min (2hr 54min)

(Note that I'm not setting any ST goals this month.  Not making that mistake again!) Smile

With my races this month, I just added my "projected" time of each leg / or race to my overall minutes....like the state championship DU is 2/16/2 so I just plugged in what I thought I would run the first 2 mile in then the 16 mile bike then the last 2 miles....of course this could mean if I go fast more work on the backend one day to make up for the "lost" minutes. But we can ask around and see what people would like to do with the races....great suggestion!

Here are our March Challenge teams as of now. I couldn't come up with anything more clever than these to name  them, if you want to change your team name let me know...

You can begin posting to a new thread in the challenge forum. I will make a seperate  If we have any additional folks join the challenge, I will update teams here. Please post your goals when you get a chance. Spreadsheet should be up by Sunday night.... Also, we as more people join our challenge ( which I hope many many more will do) I will add them to the teams and spreadsheets.

Have a great month, everybody! Good luck meeting your goals!

My goals for the month:  300 miles bike, 20k swim, 50 miles run, 4 strength workouts.   Cutting back on running this month as possible shin split or similar from upping mileage too much last month Gotta take it easy a bit before Oceanside in early april.
