I have a desk job. My boss is cool, makes fun of my exercise obsession (I am now bringing my trainer to work and biking on my lunch hour) and he knows I play on the internet more than I should.

So you can guess what I voted for.

I have a boss who is a runner extrodinaire - therefore, she highly supports and encourages all of my activities.  She actually threw me a good luck office party before my tri in June!  So it's all very.....very good!  She may not highly support the amount of time I spend on BT if she knew about it, though, so it is a good thing that I am a time managing, multi-tasking goddess of the highest caliber, resulting in her not finding out.

Well I'm a programmer. Desk job to the max. I work for a dot com (yea, believe it). We are actually doing pretty well, albeit not quite profitable. Getting there though. Anyway, usually we have plenty of work, but we are going through some changes and the work has stalled. I've been bored as $hit, which is why I spend more time here than I should. It's been good for working out though. I bike in. Run at lunch. Bike home. All w/ daylight to spare.

Maintenance man 'till I graduate.  The high-falutin' name would be "Building Engineer".

Desk job.  The amount of time I spend here vs. doing actual work is ridiculous.

Went back to school in my mid 30's; got a degree and a desk job with an office. Before that I used to work for a living.

Frazz rules!

For those who don't know Frazz, go here:

http://comics.com/comics/frazz/index.html

Hmmm, I want to be Frazz.

In the meantime, I'm charge of the programmers/engineers at my company.  I used to be the only programmer, but we grew, so now I'm in management!

Human resources. Sound exciting? It's not. I spend most of my days here on BT, checking my email, planning my meals, and longing to get outside and train.

Financial Advisor/Broker. Get to set my own hours, plus I can work at home some days. My firm doesn't care about my hours as long as I'm making my quota numbers every month.
I'm taking off tomorrow at noon for a fit session/spin scan at the LBS, then a training ride.

I am a licenced travel agent, but I work for a large international travel company in accounting right now.  I work a 32 hour a week flex schedule working some hours from home since DH and I both work flex schedules so DD doesn't have to do daycare.  This means after I've worked 5am-10:30am in the office I also have the baby for a full 8 hour until DH comes home at 7pm.  It makes for some long days at times though it's getting easier as she's getting older.

I am a fulltime firefighter/paramedic in a suburban city, and believe it or not our managment does nothing to provide us with excersice equipment. Hell I bring in my own mat to stretch and do abs.

I am a fledgling university prof teaching biomechanics and sports medicine classes mainly. But they do let me have fun by assigning me 2 golf classes a semester. I will say the golf classes are the best! Not really...I love teaching, researching, and studying the forces affecting human motion and injury! The human body and it's capacity is amazing!! Boy, do I sound like a book nerd.

My avatar is my office.  I'm a flight nurse.  3 twelve hour night shifts a week (during which I can sleep if I'm not flying) give me lots of time to train and play!  I love my job!

Senior Instrument Engineer at a oilrefinery, ok I go to work when there is a failure that can not be solved by the techs. So the buck stop here. I have a lot of free time to surf and prepair small projects.
