This is actually the October Surprise that Gloria (Lookatmeee) Allred has been chasing: http://joemiller.us/2012/10/gloria-allreds-october-romney-surprise-...

and this was supposed to surprise who?  Of course he's going to choose the life of the fetus over the life of the mother...that's what the hardest of hardcore pro-lifers do.

overall, this doesn't change a thing in my opinion...if I was a female though, it would make Romney's intentions crystal clear.  (to ultimately overturn Roe v. Wade with his choices for Supreme Court Justices if he's to be elected)

You can't just overturn a SC ruling with your appointees... you actually need a case. and after that... you actually need to prove the abortion violates the fetuses rights... but of course then you actually have to rule that a fetus does have rights... then you have to determine when the fetuses rights supercede the mothers rights..... good luck with all that. But ya, it's just easier to fear monger women and say romney is going to take away their health care.

Exactly.  I'm so tired of all this "he'll overturn Roe v Wade" nonsense.  At this point it would be damn near impossible to get it overturned.  It's a talking for for Christian conservatives but it's the law of the land and it's not going to go away any time soon.

And this from a conservative.

There's a lot of October Surprises out there.  I think most of them are just garbage, but for some weird reason I'm always fascinated by them.  :-/

So far I've seen:

  • The one I linked above
  • The story about Romney advising the lady to not have an abortion
  • Allred has a hearing today to get records unsealed and gag order lifted in the divorce case of the former Staples CEO that Romney testified in.
  • Trump supposedly having Obama college admission information showing he illegally applied as a foreign student for grants and admission.
  • Court records for Michelle Obama filing for divorce in 2000 from Barack

Did I miss any?

I could see Trump saying "I have proof of something very bad...very bad about this President and he does not want me to release it... But I will release it if he gets elected..." and in the end, it'll be nothing.

Or he could be announcing that he's back in the race for President and has miraculously gotten on all the ballots...

Although, if you read Rick Reilly's book "Who's Your Caddy"  he said in one round of golf with Bill Clinton, Bill made about 10 outlandish claims (none of which ended-up true) and cheated his way through every hole (mulligans, gimmes, etc).

When he played with the Donald, he said Donald made about 23 claims (i.e. "See that waterfall? That's the largest man-made waterfall on the east coast", "See that greens-keeper, he has a PhD in Botany..." etc etc) and every one ended up being true...oh, and the Donald marked every shot and sunk every putt.

The Donald is outlandish, but he's rich for a reason.

The Celebrity Apprentice Vice President edition?

ETA: This sounds great now that I think of it. Palin, Quayle, Gore, Edwards, Biden, Ryan, Cheney. I'd watch this.

Exactly.

Though you know some are going to make a big deal about it...  GASP!  How can the US possibly have a President that might have been contemplating separating from his wife at one time!

Clearly he's trying to ruin the US through an almost divorce.

It depends on the grounds for filing for divorce.  If it were adultery or spousal abuse he could lose some support from women voters.  Or it could list his birthplace as something other than the USA.... if that is the case then it is a huge deal.  Trump has been a "birther" from the start so this may be a HUGE deal.  I guess we have another hour to wait and see.

Trump always said "Just release the Birth Certificate." And if you recall, when it was released, he said "Ok, now we have a birth certificate and I will stop going after him for that." But then he did go after Obama's College Transcripts... Fact is he's a ringleader in a circus and the media loves to broadcast his craziness.Sherriff Joe on the other hand refuses to accept that the birth certificate is real and keeps trying to find a way to say it ain't so.
