Severe achilles cramping at mile 20, 20 Mile marker hit in 2:10:59, terrible last 10k
What would you do differently?:

Another poor job of pacing, ran first half in 1:24:16, just too fast.

Event comments:

Excellent first year race.

1. Water bottles at water stop? Terrible, please be more aware of green efforts.
2. Finishing area completely blocked for spectators on one side of stands.

Wow, fast pace! Congrats, despite having a bad last 10k (I can relate )

I agree- the water bottles were a bit much!

Great job!

Your time may not have been just what you wanted, but you still had a great race!

The water bottles were bit much. At the first aid station that had them I said, "Whole water bottles?!" and a kid that looked to be about 12 said so authoritatively, "Yeah. If you can drink it all just throw it down and you can grab another one." HA! That said, the volunteers were great at this race and congrats again on a strong race despite some challenges.
