Subject: Race Report Export

I saw the sad note that the site was going to be shutting down in the next few weeks.

is there a way to export race reports? I've got all of my training log data, but I still like to go back to race reports.

Thanks for everything for all these years. I understand the situation, but it feels like the sad end of a community that I've grown up with.

Export them using your browser to an HTML page.  I find my original race report thread, then save as HTML using my browser and I have them all saved on One Drive.  I also printed to PDF as another backup.

They're one of my favorite parts of this site..

Thanks, Mike - saved a bunch of RR's in HTML to iCloud. Didn't take long to do that at all..

My Athlinks history is pretty complete. Doesn't have the commentary, of course, but time and ranking is all there..

I just backed up all my race reports as PDF downloads and will probably save to Google later. So sad--I have years of training on here (I think since 2011?) and lots and lots of races. (And I didn't even log them all--sometimes if they don't go well, I don't have the heart to revisit them!) I will miss the site. It's a shadow of its former self now, but back in the day was a godsend.

I got into tri when I was living and working in Vietnam. For much of the first seven years I was in the sport, I was only one of a few competitive triathletes in the country; months could go by without my meeting another athlete in person. I coached myself until (I think) 2016, so pretty much everything I learned about the sport came from this site. That brought me from a total beginner to someone who's done three world championships, and qualified for a couple more (that I didn't race due to not being able to get leave). I really appreciate the online camaraderie, encouragement, and advice that the site provided me in those years, especially. I'd like to thank Alice for keeping the site running, and everyone else who supported me in my triathlon journey.

If anyone's ever at Oregon 70.3, most years I'll probably be there, as long as I'm able! Say hi!

Karen (currently with purple bike and hot pink aero helmet--they're pretty noticeable!)
