Subject: Manscaping poll

Local radio station posted a poll on their website asking whether you manscape (if you're a man) or whether you prefer manscaping (if you're a female).  Never heard it called this before, but manscaping is the act of a man shaving or trimming your nether region.

So....males do you manscape?

So...females do you prefer a manscaped man?

As long as the garden hose is fully functional, I am neutral!

FOR RENT: 11 foot long poles, for subjects that you'd rather not touch with a 10-footer.

When it comes to Manscaping, I'm handicapped with an eating and drinking habit.    I hope I'm talking about the right subject, I'm pretty dense sometimes. <img align='middle' src='https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/surprise.gif'>

hey..  what about my own options??  what if i'm a woman..  but i don't prefer men..  but i do prefer a 'scaped' partner..  not the case..  but just seeing other's points of view..

and how do we tell the "i (dis)like scaping"  from i'm (not) scaped"

and what is this boards facination with body hair?

Wow.  Didn't figure there'd be that much thought in this question.

I had some 'in-voluntary' manscaping done.... once. Damn , manscaper must have had get rid of some brush piles because the next thing I knew..felt some pain, smelled smoke and saw 2 columns of smoke rising. After that I figured that this 'scaping' thing was WAY too dangerous !!!

um, men should look like men, and women should look like women. I am actually pretty grossed out by the full scaped thang, looks prepubescent . Now on the other hand, a nice neat trim job is mucho appreciated

and tiny little bumps from irritation are decidely UNsexy.

PS- Lara, you rule.

If you wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft pole, why would you do it with a foot long one, even if you have 11 of them?

(I slay me )

The only thing that came to mind was this kid who used to swim in my high school league. He swam for our biggest rivals. This kid also was quite remeniscent of the missing link. He was seriously just covered head and toe with this thick dark course body hair. And for the city championships every year, he shaved the letter "A" (for his school) into his back and chest hair. Ugh, this kid also used to swim the event right before me, so I had to stare at his ass in a speedo with what looked like shagg carpeting sticking out. uggh.

Yes seriously.

From wikipedia: Manscaping is a word that was brought into American homes in 2004 by Queer Eye for the Straight Guy as a shorthand for "landscaping" the male body, by shaving, trimming, waxing, or brushing the body hair, usually in an artful manner aimed at presenting that body in the best light possible.

Want me to define "garden hose?"

Is that like Bretts "short stem"?

Kinda, but I think "garden hose" is longer than "short stem." Brett could have some hose envy.

Unless it's been cut off, in which case it could be quite stubby.

Its all clear to me now.

So for my answer to the thread: I don't care either way as long as nothing is out of control, then some trimming is appreciated. It takes a lot of work to be 'scaped, and I doubt most men would take the time.
