I'm think the Saints are repping the NFC in the Super Bowl. 

Second pick would be the Eagles, just because they are on a roll at the moment.

Well, we've learned something about rbschlesinger today. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

MOST OVERRATTED TEAM IN THE NFL "SAINTS"  No "D"  Eagles will shut down the saints this week.  MAybe the saints are 2nd to the COWBOYS!

4th in NFC, total yards allowed per game
3rd in NFC, total points allowed per game
1st in NFC, passing yards allowed per game

My late uncle used to have season tickets to the Saints.  My dad went with him quite often, as did my brother.  I remember the paper bags, Manning, watching my dad jump around the living room ripping his hair out.  He has no hair left.  It was while watching one of these games that my dad explained the playoff workings to me. 

I"ll be wearing my Saints shirt and socks this weekend and my hat if I can find it! 

The super bowl is at the beginning of Mardi Gras season......

My dad and two uncles had four season tickets in Season 1, 1967, and being the oldest male of my generation I got to go with them to the first game. Opening kickoff, John Gilliam ran back 94 yards for a touchdown against the Rams. Saints went on to lose the game, been mostly downhill since then. They kept the tickets for five years or so, also included the option for Super Bowl IV, Chiefs and Vikings.

Been a fan ever since, through thick and a lot of thin. Tomorrow's black and gold day at work, sorry to say I didn't own a Saints jersey, but I did fine a nice one on sale today. So what if it's an old Dante' Stallworth!

If anyone thinks sports teams are irrelevant, you really should be down there in New Orleans to see what effect this team's success has had on that community and the rebuilding efforts. Certainly helps to have stars like Drew Brees and Reggie Bush who are not only great athletes but extremely active in the community as well.

This guy is an awesome specimen.  I'd love to have him on my team.

GO BEARS!!!  I know they're not a popular pick now because they are such a streaky team and Grossman is such a question mark.  It will be interesting to see how big the bandwagon gets if they play well and win a game or two here.  If they lose to Seattle now after the same scenario last year against Carolina it will be pathetic.  Keep all sharp objects away from me.

That being said, you look at the 4 teams playing in the AFC this weekend and I think any one of them would beat the NFC Super Bowl representative at least 8 out of 10 times.  Of course, that's why they play the games.  Anything can happen in one game.
