God if the answers are what I think they will be, people might think this is a joke.

If it hurts to breathe in deeply, should I still go on with my walking/running today as planned?  I'm not feverish or weak or woozy, it just feels tight and constricted in my chest when I take a deep breath.

Stay close to home and see how you feel.... maybe you will feel better !

if you still feel like you can't breathe normally call it a rest day.

I'm kinda new to triathlon over the past couple years.  I read here that it probably wouldn't hurt you to run if you have a little chest congestion, or were a teeny bit sick.  So I went running when I was a teeny bit sick, and got REAL SICK!  Don't know about you, but I'm gonna skip running next time I feel that way . . .

Sick above shoulders-OK to run.  Sick in Chest-Take day off

x2

My rule of thumb is never workout with a cough or chest tightness/wheezing...you probably won't get much of a workout in anyway and the downside is large.  Take an extra rest day or maybe just some light stretching.

I have no history of asthma, but I have been slightly sick for the past two days.  Yesterday I felt weak and woozy at work, where I stand all day, lots of body soreness, but my chest wasn't hurting like it is today.  None of the wooziness today, but again, the chest thing is new.  In fact I feel great except a sore itchy throat and the painful breathing.
