Hey BT!

5:00am:  :40 min run with some intervals

5:45am:  :40 mins lower body

Later at 7am:  Chasing CC runners and core

Didn't get out for a hike yesterday, hoping to do that today & later tonight training my coworkers.   Our city pool is still closed--it's killing the whole town! We've been in triple digit heat for days now and no pool open to get relief.

Here she is...Purple Penelope! Yes, I had to name her!

5:30 - LT run, 4 x 6' at 10k pace, 2' recovery. It was super humid, which ended up causing my HR to spike the last two intervals. Had to slow down, which I HATE.

I'm in my last build phase leading to my first race in over a year. Exciting!

Nice ride, Kim - you going to call her PP for short? No possible issues, there . . .

Lovely weather in central Indiana for the next couple days, high of 78, we are escaping the heat for a bit!

25 mile bike ride this morning, looking forward to getting out for my first run in a while tomorrow (been battling knee issues)

No training yet....being lazy getting started now that I don't have to rush off to work! Planning an hour run with some hill repeats (we have hills here, unlike Saigon) and hoping to get out to the lake to test my new wetsuit this afternoon.

Sweet bike! Wish they made tri bikes in purple....If I had my druthers, my bike and suit would be purple and green!

Sweet bike Kim! Love the name!

5:15am power spin
7am - 2.5 mile run - very humid here and legs were pretty tired. Just trying to keep some running miles in my legs!

Have a great day!

Congrats on the bike Kim and on your weekend results too!

Nothing too strenuous for me today. A short bicycle commute to and from work, and a half hour treadmill run at lunchtime.

Nice bike Kim! I'll stay away from the PP comments.

This morning I did my usual plank. After the sun came out for a bit I had to mow the grass. Does that count as a workout? One of these days I am going to use the pedometer on my phone to track how much walking that entails.

Shortly after the lawn, I hopped on the bike and got in 12 rough miles. I am hoping the lawn tired me out, as I was slow and achy by the time I was finished. I adjusted my seat a bit the day before (and felt fine yesterday...); perhaps I need to back it off a bit. I'll give it a few days and see what happens.

But I didn't have time to dwell on the ride as the pool opened up for lap swimming about 5 minutes after I got home. So it was grab the swim bag and head on out. Unfortunately the swim was about as good as the bike to me today. I got in my 1200 yards (6 x 200), but most of them were pretty bad. On the plus side, the 1200 I wanted to get for today put me at just over 20,000 yards for the month! First time I hit that milestone in 25 years or so. I still am planning on swimming Thursday too, so I may get in more yardage before June is over.

Have a great evening,

J White
