Veteran 316![]() ![]() ![]() Norfolk, VA | Subject: Mother F*(&*^(&$rWell, it's the first Monday of the New Year. I'm becoming a new person today. I'm going to swim, bike, and run on a daily basis and I'm going to be healthy. I'm only going to drink beer on the weekends and I'm going to increase my water intake. What do I find this morning....My f*cking Jeep got broken into last night...and because I'm a dipsh*t, I left my training bag in there. I now have no goggles, swimsuit, running pants, running shirt, running shoes, or sports bra. Great way to start out the 'new year!!!'. So, instead of doing my swim tonight, I'll be headed to the sports store to get goggles, running shoes, running gear, and a new gym bag. I hate 2005. |

You will have a long fast run. My book bag was stolen from my car a few years ago. They dumped my expensive textbooks and irreplaceable class notes out in the rain and stole the stupid $5 knapsack. Never but never leave anything you value in a car in Atlanta. TW |

The second time cracked me up. The person took the pack (probably $25(), but dumped the $200 text book (which they could have easily sold back to the bookstore) and $150 calculator in the trash. :-P Sucks, though.... Hope you find your stuff! |

Veteran 316![]() ![]() ![]() Norfolk, VA | Subject: RE: Mother F*(&*^(&$rThanks! I'll definatly check. I think though, they may have taken it for some girl...they took my girly sunglasses too. (not to mention... they left the passenger side door wide open....so I doubt they took their time leaving). I'll keep you posted! (Meanwhile...I REALLY want a beer!! Great day to start not drinking during the week!) |

Extreme Veteran 354![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Townsville | Subject: RE: Mother F*(&*^(&$rOne way to look at this though is that you now have new gear to start the new year with. All the bad vibes that have plagued you in the last 12 months are gone with the sports gear and the new gear you will buy will have fresh good vibes. Other than that kill the F.B. when you see the cross dressing transvestite running down the street in your old swim gear. |

Expert 1164![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New Port Richey | Subject: RE: Mother F*(&*^(&$rSorry to hear about you belongings Katie. I never had my car broken into but have found some one sitting in it before. He was acting all weird so I went into the store, locked the door and called the cops. They guy gets out of my car and proceeds to try getting into the store. I thought he was going to break the glass so I unlocked the door and confronted him. He proceeded to throw a punch at me. I ducked then tackled him and beat the piss out of him until the cop came. When the cops came the guy denied being in my car but the cops partner came around the corner and said he found the kids ID in the car along with 70 dollars. The cop asked me if it was mine and I told him no it wasn't. The kid said someone must of put his ID in my car. The cop gave me the money and I did not press charges. I guess you can consider that my first professional fight. This all happened at 3 am on Christmas morning. Sorry to highjack your thread Katie. |

Veteran 316![]() ![]() ![]() Norfolk, VA | Subject: RE: Mother F*(&*^(&$rWow...sitting in your jeep/car. I couldn't imagine what I'd do. I'm very protective of my Jeep (as most jeep owners are...)...I might become butch 'kick ass' Katie if that happened! Well, I got new shoes, goggles, running pants, and adidas workout bag. I finally bit and paid $50 for a sportsbra (actually..2) about a year ago.. and they've both now been stolen. So, I have to suck it up and pay another big chunk for one. Why the hell are they so expensive? I got new Asics for cheaper than I can get a new (good) sports bra! I didn't drink beer last night. Instead, I bought a bottle of Finlandia Cranberry and some Cranberry Juice and had Cape Codders all night. I felt better after a couple of episodes of Friends. =) Thanks guys and gals! |

Elite 3498![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Chicago | Subject: RE: Mother F*(&*^(&$rI was pretty pissed when I found him sleeping in the back of my wrangler....esp since he sorta broke the back soft top window to get in!!! I yelled and screamed at him at the top of my lungs (residential street just 1 block North of Oak St. in a very ritzy part of Chicago) but few folks around since it was like 1:00am. I guess I scared him (thank God he didn't have a gun and/or was on drugs...didn't think of that at the time) because he probabaly wouldn't have shot me since I scared him so much. Anyway, like others said...nice to have a "legit" reason to get new gear?!?! |

Extreme Veteran 401![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Plant City, Florida | Subject: RE: Mother F*(&*^(&$ras a fellow Jeep owner who has had stuff stolen out of his Jeep the most important thing to remember is never lock it if you have a soft top....when we called the police after the last breakin this rookie cop started yelling at my wife about how you should lock your doors but the way I look at it is everything you got stolen was probably still cheaper than if they cut your roof to get in.... I do not know what I would have done if I had found someone sleeping in my Jeep ....probably flew off the handle like Steve-......spanner that is too funny lmao |

The BEST sports bra I have found so far was on I got at Marshall. New Balance kind of a 3/4 thing with a bra within a bra. Its the only one I have that I don't have to wear 2 and I'm about the same size as you are. (based on your post) Take care -SMO |

They rensacked my entire car, military uniforms and all, and the only things the stupid F%$kers took was a smelly gym bag, 1 authentic cuban cigar and an old CD player. They left the expensive uniforms but took all the brass buttons on them. People suck! Go and drink a few for all us! It's only one bad day and now your new gear has powerful kharma to prosper with. Good luck in the New Year! |

Veteran 137![]() ![]() Citrus Heights, CA | Subject: RE: Mother F*(&*^(&$rStupid Jeep pilfers. My Jeep has been broken into twice, once they slashed a window right next to the zipper to get in. People can be so stupid (present company excluded). Now whenever I leave anything in the Jeep I jsut figure it will get stolen, so anything I might miss stays at home. On a side note, one of my friends and I were at a KOA in Salt Lake City about 10 years ago, and after an impulsive jump into the pool (fully clothed), we laid our clothes out on the picnic table to dry. The next morning, her icky $5 wal mart bra...her favorite of course...was gone. Nothing else. Well, if you need it that bad go right ahead.... |
