Here's mine. It's my design and it is the first two letters of my sons name, Tyler. I will add to it when the next kid comes.

All very cool..... I like the stories behind the individual tattoos or explanations....

Speaking of this topic of tattoos, I get asked all the time what the one I have on my lower leg....Explain the IM, and usually it goes over their head....

My question, if you can see a persons tattoo, can you ask about it....?  Even the nifty ones on back of  upper buttocks, breast,  facial, neck ect. ect.    As a driver of a city bus, I see every kind and I'm somewhat curious.....

I get asked all the time. Usually it's the "didn't that hurt?" or "how long did that take" or "how much did all that cost?" questions. Or a simple "hey, i like your tats!" Ha. I don't mind and usually take the time to talk to people and refer them to the right places and educate them or amuse them for a couple minutes. Sometimes they even amuse me with their horribly wretched works of art. Fun times. Vary rarely will I reveal all.

 Everyone is curious I suppose.

The script over the collarbone, that HAD to hurt. Right?

Thats also one of the places that gives me the willies to touch, or to touch someone elses collarbone...yuck. I can't imagine getting a tattoo there.

I think most people with ink enjoy talking about their tats. I say, if you can see it and you want to know, go ahead and ask.

Yes, but collarbones and eyes FREAK me out. *shivers* In school I put Post-its over the optical chapters, esp optical injuries. Actually I didn't really read it at all, but anyway. No one touches my collarbone and I think I'll die if I ever break it.

But I have no problem stapling your head back together. Carry on.

When someone gets a tat, it has meaning behind it. People love to share the story behind their tats. No harm in asking!

Yes.  I don't mind talking about the tattoo itself.  I don't really appreciate questions like "did it hurt? how much did it cost?"  Yes, it hurt.  No, I'm not going to tell you how much it cost.  I'm always willing to say who did it because she did a great job and I wish more people would get better artists.
