Rush hates America.

Rush is like a lot of others, he hates it that this choice didn't get voted in.   I wouldn't say he perged himself, he makes mistakes just like anyone else.  I' not defending just trying to look at it from another view.  If you listen to him though he does get a lot of things right.  Just sayin.

That's one way to get my attention. And you're right, it is off limits.

Accusing mods and admins of bias when they're making an honest effort to be fair and perform a service isn't tolerated here.

If anyone thinks it's easy to be an impartial moderator on an active forum that tries to maintain a civil level of discourse, particularly around election season, when partisans from every point on the political spectrum who think they should be able to post whatever they want because by God, they're RIGHT!, I have news for you:

It isn't easy. It's a total PITA, actually. Try it sometime. Try to be fair and impartial and set all of your own political/religious/moral beliefs aside with the single goal of enforcing rules of conduct, knowing that you're just going to get crap for it. It takes discretion, discipline and a sincere desire to be of service to others.

There are mods here who've told me that they end up mostly removing posts that they actually agree with, but the manner in which it was posted was unacceptable. Then they get accused of bias.

Think about that for a second.

I have quite a bit of respect and a boat load of gratitude for those mods. I also have no patience and little respect for anyone who tries to abuse them or belittle their efforts. So no, criticizing them isn't allowed here. They don't deserve it. Quite the opposite.

Here's the deal:

We don't care what anyone's politics are. We don't care what someone's religion is or isn't. We do care that the discourse on those subjects is kept out of the gutter and towards that end we will do what we have to do.
