It had to be a bottle they cleaned out and are using for something else.  I can't think of what, but something.

I CANNOT believe you didn't ask them what it was about!?  I totally would have (respectfully of course).

This is a reach buuuut....could be used as a hypoglycemia treatment. In emergencies, diabetics and hypoglycemics use cake frosting, jelly, etc for a quick sugar boost.

Or they could just be nuts.

But it makes for a pretty good running cadence! (Now it's stuck in your head like an earworm. Go ahead and TRY not to think about it on your next run! Bwaa-ha-ha-ha!)

Any time I have a bad day at school, I go and watch that and suddenly, life is better.

maybe it was a mixture of maple syrup and honey.  I been told about it and tried it during a race.  I ran that half marathon 10 min after than the 4 others I did that year.  It was the middle half so you know it was not just physical improvement.

Carry a loaf of bread into the hot tub with you next time. Then when you see the jelly whip out the bread and ask "can I get a squirt?"

Who knows, you may even make a new friend.

ETA I made it through 36 seconds.
