Subject: Long-Distance Travel after 1st Metric CenturyI am planning to do my first metric century at the end of the month. The next day, I will have a 9 hour flight. Because it's my first ride with that distance, I expect some soreness and it just makes me cringe to think about being sore and be cramped in a plane for 9 hours. I originally planned to swim the next day to loosen everything up, but that's not going to happen. After the ride, it takes me at least 1.5 hours to do an ice bath and I don't know, if that is too late that it would have any effect. I was also thinking about getting some compression tights for on the plane. If I wasn't travelling, I wouldn't worry about it at all, but under these circumstances... Am I overthinking this?? Any advice is greatly appreciated. |
