and a link to the routes from Bike Roswell:  http://www.bikeroswell.com/

I'm in and so is Roxanne from work.  You can register via Active until Friday night or on race day at the start.  The start time is early so it should be cooler.

I'm in. When signing up I marked the 64 mile route, but I might strap on a pair and do the 100.

I will be in black/white (avatar pic), and on the P2. I should stand out, so please say "hi".

Since I will be on a tri-bike, most of the roadies will hate me (so, it would be nice to see a friendly face). Plus, I would love to meet some BT'ers!!

Why do you think just because you're on a tri bike roadies will hate you?  I've done and seen plenty of peeps on tri bikes at centurys.  They will only hate you if you try to draft them or cut into their pace line in the aero position.  Otherwise I think roadies are just as friendly as us tri peeps.

ughhhhh. I am in but I might quit around 80. I am soft these days. Dad says he is going to sit in a lawn chair around mile 88 with a 6 pack and watch everyone struggle out of Mountain Park.

I am just saying around the start. The last ride I did I got all sorts of looks beforehand, and while I was watching a draft line operate (that was really cool to watch BTW). Of course, around mile 30 everyone warmed up. I presume they got used to my style/speed/etc. I even had one guy that was drafting off of me ask if I wanted him to pull for a bit. I thought that was nice.

Yeah, I make sure to always give roadies their space.

If you thought watching a paceline in a local ride is cool, you should catch the TdF team time trial on Versus tonight.  I watched the Team Time Trial at the Tour de Georgia last year at Road Atlanta and that was REALLY cool.  Those guys spent about a second or two on the point and pealed back.  It was something to see in person.

Coldfire, Natalie always wears pink and my bike is a yellow K2 tri-bike with red flowers on it.  I bet we stand out more than you.  ; )

It should be quite entertaining to see how many folks make it up the Mtn Park hill (me included) - we will have to go slower in the beginning to conserve energy for that part.  I will trash talk you, Natalie, so you won't wuss out for sure.  And by "wuss," I don't mean "wuss."

I was planning to take the girls to the same spot and encourage folks.  That's a tough hill out of Mountain Park.

Steph, you are going to need to beef up your vocabulary if you are going to trash talk me as a motivation tactic. I am okay with being a wuss. Call me fat; that'll work. Oh, and it will all be slow. If you guys pull that 17 mph crap on the first 20 this time I am not going to try to hang.

Coldfire, I have my Mom's old Trek roadie, I have a bike radio and I wear a skirt. You really shouldn't care what anyone thinks. Half the dudes that do these rides I swear are in it only so they can eat their weight at the aid stations.

I worked as a marshal at that Tour de Georgia.  The time trial was awesome!  There was a big difference between powerhouse Slipstream and the all Japanese squad (name escapes me).  I actually was holding the seats of the riders at the start.  I gave a extra little push to my Jittery Joes friends on their start   Its a shame the no longer have a pro team.  Guess I have to root for Loco's now!

My husband and I were thinking about the 61 mile option but after seeing the ride profile.... I'm not so sure. This is the first time I've seen the route and he'll probably do it but I might chicken out.

WOW!  I was just thinking the other day if there are road bike races that don't involve the phrase "Tour of _______" in it that I could try.

I'm pretty sure I'm down for the 31mile ride.  Sadly the only time I ever ride my road bike is at triathlons and duathlons and I've only done a few of those.  So 31miles might be a little scary but what the hell?

I'll see if I can convince my buddy to do the ride too.  Plus he has my GoPro camera and I need proof so that years down the road when I tell my grandkids I shut down GA400 to ride my bicycle they won't tell me "quit telling lies grandpa".

That is sweet!!!

If you could hook it up to an iPod, then everytime you are behind someone you could play the music from Jaws.....da nup, da nup, da nup How funny would that be?

Someone tell me about this hill coming out of Mtn Park? What, the 88th mile marker?
