Could it be that much more expensive than other bike clothes anyway? Seems like everyone makes varying levels of price/quality. I never had any experience with any of their old stuff personally, but I heard some of it was pretty good. |

My favourite pair of knicks are nike ones and they really are at the point where I cant/shoudlnt wear them in public anymore... werent cheap either.... Having Livestrong attached to the team is cool... but having Big Pharm sponsor Lance may just be a little too much. I always snicker when I see some drug commercial spouting off a bunch of side effects and then encouraging you to go tell your doctor that you need some of what they're selling. Heck, they'll even let you get hooked with a free sample. So, yeah, I must say I'd much rather see a Livestrong/Nike/Trek team, than Team Eli Lilly, or something like that. (Im sure the French media would be all over the Big Pharma/doping angle too.) |

AC is only 26 years old, like it or not he's going to be around for awhile, and Bruyneel would probably not want to have him on some other team. Most Nike products aren't worth the price, I stopped buying them. The just put their name and logo on anything and jack up the price, don't think they conduct any independent product testing. |

There are rumours that Lance has been wooing Cavendish and Tony Martin. Not sure about everyones contracts though. At least we can be sure there will not be the Lance vs Alberto team leader controversy. |
