Do you have a favorite pair of sunglasses? A pair you love that don't slide down your head, fog up, pinch your ears, etc.? I have not yet found that pair to love and welcome suggestions.

I have a pair of Rudy Project Rydon II.  They are nice because you can adjust the temples and nose piece so that they don't slide and aren't too tight.  Haven't had the lenses fog up on me either.

x2! I have them in several different frame colors because I love them so much! And I've spent a boatload on lenses too... but I love them. Love them. Love them.

BTW, they are pricey, but you can get them on eBay. Lenses too.

Couldn't agree more about the flak Jackets.  I have a pair of the Flak Jacket XLJ's (they are bigger than the standard Flak Jackets and I have a melon head).  I've never owned the Radar's but from the Oakley website I understand that the Radars and the Flak Jackets are essential the same glasses in different Styles.  The Radars are sheild style (one peice) lense and the Flack Jacket's are a standard(2 peice) lense.  But the lense, technoligy and fit are almost identical.

FYI If you are a government employee, you can get about a 50% discount on most oakley sunglasses.

x2, and not just because I'm sponsored. :D I have the Rydon, not the Rydon II, but they don't slip, and you can get cool colored sleeves/nose pieces to replace the original ones.

I have used Oakley in the past, and they are pretty good too. You really can't go wrong with either, but most of the RP stuff is less expensive.

I've had a couple pairs of "nice" sunglasses but the pair that work best with MY helmet and face area $20 pair of checkout counter glasses from Dick's.  Pretty light.  Don't interfer with my helmet, don'y slide or hurt ears. The are UV & polarized.

I moved to Tifosi Vogel with High Speed Red Fototec lenses this year and have been really pleased for two main reasons:

1) Rimless so very good visibility in aero (my biggest problem with the previous shades I was using)

2) Variable tint lenses are great and save me having to change lenses which is a real bonus if you do long rides where the weather changes or it starts getting dark.

They're also reasonably priced and I got mine from zappos.com so I could return them for free if I didn't like them.

See more at http://www.tifosioptics.com/single/vogel.html

Not sure about the visability with those Uvex.  My neck hurts just thinking about it.

+1

I like them because they have no frame allowing for greater visibility.

X3 except that I have the XLJ version...I think the lense is a bit bigger...slightly different shape that I like better.  I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these sunglasses.  I have several different lenses, but the lenses CAN be hard to swap out...so I finally bought some extra frames so I could have some standard pairs with my favorite lenses in them.

oakley halfjackets. changeable lenses. Some gripe about the top of the frame in your line of vision when in aero position, but I don't notice it. Cheap, last forever.

Half jackets here as well, they work great just don't look all that good on me with my face structure.

Also the jupitors in my avitar but i ran in them once and they just hold sweat and you can't see.

Anyone try the jawbones yet? Coworker of mine just ordered a set since he lost his glasses on his last right.

Old school baby!  Oakley M frames, better coverage for contact lense wearers.  I've had these forever.  If it's not sunny, you can change to a persimmon lense.
