Pre-race routine:

oatmeal and coffee, short drive acroos town to the race
Event warmup:

1/2 mile jog with hubby, a little stretching

Comments:

great run for me, my mile splits were 9:39, 10:20 and 10:17, I've never run sub 10 in a race before so this was definitely a step forward for me, another PR for me by over 4 minutes
What would you do differently?:

get faster :), this was really a good run for me, with all the long distance I've been doing I haven't worked on speed

water, walking, watch the kids run the mile race

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I'm still slow, but I'm getting there :)

a very small local race to benefit the middle school, lots of fun
