You know what's teh awesome?  Yoga after work on Fridays! Though I like post-workweek swims too.  I feel so relaxed now!

In other, less happy news.....

I finally gave in and went to the doctor. After 10 months of heel pain, I figured it was time....

End result.... It's PF. (Yeah, I wasn't surprised. I just haven't been able to get rid of it, which is why I finally went to the doctor.) And I won't be running any more this month.

I'm supposed to REST the stupid thing. (Do you suppose that's why it never got better?)

Rest?

Um. I have a 5K next week.....

OK, I'll compromise and walk it, instead of wogging it.

Bummer though, because I'm sure I could have had a PR. Oh well. At least I'll pick up another new t-shirt.

Right now, she just wants me to rest it and do some basic stretching stuff.

You should have seen the look on her face when I asked about doing the 5K.

I got a phone call from the school at 4:00 yesterday.  They forgot to give Cole his 3:00 dose of med's.  Yeah, thanks guys.  It is for anger/aggression.  Guess who had a very difficult little boy yesterday evening????  I e-mailed his teacher and made sure to thank her and told her if it happens again she can either take him home or I'll drop him off for her to deal with.    Yikes.   To top it off, the pool was closed last night so we couldn't go to family swim.  That made him mad.  Me too really.   Good thing is he seems pleasant this morning.

This morning we have exactly nothing on the schedule!  Woot!  Then a Girl Scout cookie booth at noon and a birthday party at 3:30.  Church and lacrosse tomorrow.  Gonna be a good, but cold, weekend.

I highly recommend finding a dr who does Mayo Farcial Disruption Technique.  http://mfdt.com/mfdt/whatmfdtis.asp  My PF was so bad in both feet I could barely walk.  Now they are both doing great.
