A PT friend did some test on me,  It turns out I have the left glute stronger than the right and I am more flexible with my right leg,  that affects my whole stride....  try isolating excersises  (like doing calf raises each leg separately ) it may help you to balance them. She gave me a whole set of excersises per leg,  In my case, a weak glute is compensated by a strong quads  (the right quad was stronger than the left ) that also affected the hamstrings, and so on, it kind of follows a X pattern from leg to leg.... I didn't know that!.  It may be that you calf is not the problem but another weak muscle, then your body has to compensate with the left calf...  Edited by clflgrl 2005-07-26  3:49 PM
