220  miles here, way out west in Houston. I made the drive.

Actually, I did a century in west Houston a couple weeks ago, and stumbled upon a Chipotle post-ride. Not bad stuff at all, maybe not worth the drive, but next time you're in the neighborhood...

I'll just stick with watching the two chipotle webcams.. the avacadoes ripening.. and chicken maranating cams.... now thats excitment!

I'd never even heard of Chipotle before being on BT. Closest one to me is in Seattle, 122 miles. Let me know if you find out about delivery.

http://www.chipotle.com/    Just went to their website,  One in Seattle and one in Bellvue.  Next sorta planned trip is to the Black Diamond HIM or Olympic in Sept.  Maybe a stopover is required......

If you're in Madison, I would recommend trying Qdoba. I think they're better than Chipotle, personally. I settle for Chipotle because the closest Qdoba is about 25 miles away.

4 miles or so and a Qdoba only 1.5 miles away...but I've started making my burritos at home: marinate some chicken and/or veggies, black beans, and cilantro rice. They taste just as good and you can control flavors, excess fat, ect...I suggest everyone tri's.

You know, at the risk of being pummeled by the entire BT community, Chipotle doesn't hold a candle to Freebirds.

And ya'll know they're owned by McDonald's, right?

You're right. Freebirds is much better. It is a shame I love it now, I would never set foot in one when I was in TX. I wish there were Freebirds here.

Lets not start down the McDonalds road again.

BTW: the day you leave for LP next year, I want you to stop by Freebirds and bring me 2 with you (one burrito, one quesadilla). Don't worry, they'll make it, actually just as good the next day. However, dont worry, b/c I will meet you at the runway anxiously waiting.

LOL....I'll tell you what. I'm not sure what my travel plans are right now. My wife's parents live in PA and we might head there for a few days first. But if we fly straight into Albany, I will bring a small cooler with the Freebirds in it. In fact, I'll bring a Freebirds burrito for any BTer that'll be at LP that wants one.

Let me restate, though, that's ONLY if we fly into Albany and don't detour through PA first. I'll take orders the week before.

YYYYAAAYYY!!!!!!!    Now, give me the names of your wife's parents so I can talk them into just meeting you in Albany so you don't have to detour...

I've had people bring me Freebirds to Atlanta before. Yep. I have a problem with burritos.

LOL....you've got some serious issues.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

I've also had parents and friends bring me: tortillas from HEB (the ones they make in the store), fresh salsa from HEB, wine, and other assorted goodies that you can only get in TX or LA. The food is just that much better there...

Got 2 of them really close....one is 100 steps from my office in downtown Columbus...and the other is 1/2 mile from my house......all this time of eating Chipotle and I just found out that friggin McDonald's owns their franchise!...I *almost* wanted to quit eating there.

McDonalds may own it but they didn't start it.  They bought it and expanded it.  That mitigates the pain I feel knowing that it's owned by the golden arches.

1. Rehab is for quitters. I'm not a quitter.

2. "I used to think I had a problem, so I gave up thinking."
