Chris and I tested out out the new mailbox feature... FYI it allows us to receive messages, but we cannot reply to them. Don't know if you were aware of this or not. Kiss

I had trouble with my first message today.  

I sent a detailed note to someone and then forgot about it.  I clicked on the link just now (even though it didn't show any new messages) and saw my note had "2 replies".

I clicked on the link and only the first 6 words were there.  Not the rest of the 100+ word message.  I am so bummed!  I was giving a Dr. referral to a friend.  There was a reply from the recipient, which was the second reply.

I am sure he now thinks I am a kook, sending a note that says "I still want to give you" and nothing else.   I wish I could have that message back again.   

So, a few problems...

Someone wrote me a PM. It looks exactly like a thread now, I'm assuming that's the new INBOX look.

I hit "reply" and it came up as

Recipients DanielG

I'm assuming that means the other person will never get my reply and it will only be in my INBOX.
The "quote" button at the top of the message does the same thing.
The "PM" button at the bottom of the person's message brings up my INBOX only.
When I click on the person's username at the left side of the message and then click on "Send User a Private Message" on the user's page it brings me back to my INBOX.

Boiled down, I tried to reply to the person's PM to me and the only person who saw the response was me, it's a thread inside my INBOX but the person will never see it. I ended up finding a thread the person had posted in and used the PM button from THAT post and put my response into the PM edit box that came up.

At the top of the PM edit box that came up from inside a thread on one of the forums the top of the PM thread says

Recipients DanielG (other user)

so I'm comfortable the other person finally saw my response.
