I see the "newest" Inbox stuff, but obviously do not see the old Outbox/Sent stuff which I had saved.

1). I did notice that I received a few more PMs after my post sometime, but, I don't recall if those are from the Outbox or not since I didn't record them.

2). I noticed a "feature" .  After creating a new PM and then clicking on Preview, the PM actually is sent (I did a test of sending a new PM to my account).  I believe the option action is setup for a Send instead of Preview.  I didn't have the same result when I opened an existing e-mail, did a Reply, typed in a response, and then do a Preview.  Make sense?

X2 on missing sent items.

I have all the messages that came into me, but I don't have any of the ones I sent. 

I notice that on the test message that I sent from the new system it shows recipents of myself and the person who I sent it too.  But on the older messages I am the only recipent.

I'm missing messages too. Some old, some a little newer (within the past year). Assorted dates.

Maybe a walk through of the procedures on how to use the new message system would be good. I am a bit unclear on what has happened. I have tried to send a PM to myself as a test but I am not getting a notification that I received a message or at least if I am I can't find it.

x2 on Sent Items not being there

x2 on assorted items seeming to be missing... though I guess I can't be 100% sure, it just seems like there's a lot fewer items than I used to have.

And on a new message, I hit Preview and it seemed to send the message instead of previewing.

Thanks for all the work you do to actively solicit feedback and really listen to us and then implementing stuff!

Yep, a few issues:

- all the messages that would have been on my Inbox page 1 (all the early saved messages) are gone.

- no sent messages either

- still can't attach pictures

Other than that, have been using the new messaging system to send and receive and it's been working great. I love the threaded responses.

OK, I'm kind of confused.  See many of the issues others have raised above. 

1) I clicked someone's PM button in a forum thread to send them a message and the thread page was replaced by the inbox.  Shouldn't it keep the thread page and open a new message window (or tab) with the receipts name in the To field ready to go instead?

2) I think I sent a message this AM to marmadaddy, not sure now.  I replied to a message he sent to me awhile back but can't tell if it went to him.  I liked it when I could tell if the message was read or was still sitting in the outbox.

3) Was formatting a message without anyone in the To field and clicked preview to check it out and it disappeared.  Found it in my inbox.

Thanks, Ron.  I understand - I've been through similar situations.  Sent message did not come across, so I suppose it's how the script or migration software or backup/restore functionality is handling the process.  We'll keep you posted in the next few days.

1 - PM buttons in forum, profile and training log should all go to the new inbox.

2 - Message preview issues have been fixed.

I am still not able to get a picture through. The picture I have been trying to send is 15.9 KB

What happens when you try to send a picture...does it just not attach?

ALL MESSAGES HAVE BEEN MIGRATED.

*NOTE, we did not migrate the 'sent' messages as there would be a very high duplication rate with the 'outbox'.  All sent messages have been received by the recipient and migrated...so the intended target DOES have a migrated copy.

Please check to make sure you are satisfied with the migration.   We can migrate 'sent' messages on a case by case basis.  Though at the end of the month we plan to delete all messages from the old system and reclaim a few gigs of space.

It looks like most of my "Sent" came through.  I also noticed that the sender is now listed as a recipient on the emails that came to me before, and I don't think that was true a few days ago.

My guess is the only sent items I don't have were deleted by the reciever since I sent them.  I didn't have any that were important.

One nit picky note.  I notice that the inbox says "1 Reply" for posts in each PM thread.  This is a bit misleading as the original post counts as a "reply".  I'd recommend changing the heading to "1 Messages" or reduce the count by 1 in that column.

It looks like every inbox message I ever had has migrated... Things I deleted long ago...  I am pretty sure I had it down to just one message I had saved with a phone number, now it's like a blast from the past.

I can go through and delete these again, but can you add a "check all on page" button?  I just starting checking the whole page worth of e-mails to delete and then I keep finding more, so I am quitting for now.   A "check all" would be great in general.
