While Rocket Man and I were watching the HIM people come in, this lady was next to us SMOKING A CIGARETTE!! Right at the finish chute. She would shove it in her mouth like that and clap whenever anybody came through then go back to puffing away. What a dork. | Pro 3883 Woodstock,GA | Subject: RE: One last GFT picture That whole area of Buckhill is just trashy....I had this dude riding with me the first part of the course talking about how nice and scenic of a course it was....I looked at him and was like you HAVE to be kidding right? This is the armpit of Florida (no offense to those of you who live there).....scenic is not a word I would use to describe the GFT bike course...the run course is pretty nice, and parts of the bike are OK, but from SR 19 pretty much until the end it just sucks! |

One perfectly styled young woman lifts her cig to her mouth and her wrist is completely weighed down with yellow and pink wristbands. The irony was apparently lost on her. 2 - Before the start of the half, I smell that familiar odor and turn around to see another runner smoking a cigaretter in the middle of all the people about to start. WTF? |

They were about 1,700 miles along on their 2.050 mile hike from Springer Mt. in Georgia to Maine's Mt. Katahdin, when they all pulled out cigarettes and lit up. I guess 5 months on the trail is boring enough that it really makes you look for a new hobby!  |
