Pro  3673      MAC-opolis |  Subject: My favorite brand of running shoes are.....So far, NIKE. But I got my first new pair of Brooks under the tree. I overpronate...Brooks has good stability line of shoes. We'll see. |

LOL! At least my shoes don't break wind in the middle of a run like some boys do! I've had two pair of Nike Air and BOTH pair had a failure of the air pocket in one of the shoes. So, every time I took a step on that foot.... THSssssss... THSsssss... THSssss... you get the idea. Now, I wear New Balance. They seem to be the only brand that holds up under my crushing weight. |

Just hanging out got to go with my Lance Armstrong special edition Nike Free. Yes they came in and they are awesome. I get compliments on them all the time. |

I'm not very brand loyal when it comes to shoes - every time I replace a pair, my old ones have been discontinued and I go through the process of trying them all out again. I've loved my Adidas, New Balance, and (surprisingly) my new Nikes. |

Now the only shoes that don't cause me problems are Rebok Premier Road Plus (Wide model). I buy them 3 pair at a time. They're not the best quality shoe but I can run in them. And with my foot problems, I haven't been able to run (more than a mile) for the past 25 years, this is a big deal. I'm planning for 10Ks this year and have done over 20 5ks in the past 2 years. Not much compared to a lot of you runners out there, but great for me. |

I'm going to try NB 901. NB and Mizuno are the only brands that fit my size 13 foot - Asics et al leave me with blacktoe. |
