Well, nothing at work.

This morning my wife said she LOVED ME, and our 13 month old son looked at me, pointed, and said, "DOH!!!!!"

I'll take those.

I went to buy a lottery ticket the other day and the lady looked at me and said "21?" It had been soooo long since I had been carded for anything I didn't know what she was talking about. Made my day!

I got this a couple times already:

"Wow, do you feel ok? You look like sh*t"

Hollis said I had a tiny butt, that was nice change from the huge comments I'm used to getting.

I got hit on by a girl at the gym last week.
To a guy, that is probably about the best compliment going.

Lots of people are commenting on how good I look since starting Tri training.
I use it as motivation to keep going.

I'll dish out a compliment.

Haley, you don't have the biggest *** I've ever seen.

See, that wasn't so hard.

Someone said to me recently "Too bad you're married. All the good ones are taken." That was nice!

On a note my husband left for me yesterday: "Good morning sexy..." Does it count when it's from your own husband? (He's suppose to think I'm sexy!)

I do try to make it a point to give someone a compliment if I am thinking it.

Not really a compliment but I got an apology from a client whp gave me a really hard time on Monday afternoon.

She didnt want to do her training or change her work procedure so just sat and sulked when I was trying to train her....

Just the apology made my day!

He OUGHT to get credit, so you should too! Sometimes us husbands/dads/sons forget to appreciate all of the wonderful things in our life.

He does indeed get credit. He's good about compliments...now that he's trained.

no, i actually got told that I shouldn't go into journalism because my writing is so poor. And then I got on the wrong bus. And I was sick. And people forgot about me for communal pancake dinner. blah. it was a crap day. But in 4 minutes, I head out the door for a swim, and the pool doesn't care how shitty a day I had.

You sound more exited about getting close enough to another man for him to make a comment/compliment of that nature than your own husbands compliment of your "sexiness".
I guess if you think it came from "having" to say it because he's your husband then I understand otherwise this is an interesting perspective for us guys to take note of.
