Subject: RE: What kind of restaurant is this?We have a few places like that around here, although they don't seem to be as much work as standing out over a grill.
The one place brings your food out on a hot, flat stone (the stone grill ). It's about the size of a plate. Your food has already started cooking when they bring it out and you just cook to perfection and eat it. I love getting the Filet Mignon there, because I can eat when it's at perfection. And, since the stone is flat, I can cut it right there while it's cooking - so, I eat it from a range of really rare to medium rare (of course, you can just take the filet off the stone when it's ready and the whole piece will be cooked the same ). I love it. You can cook seafood on it too, but I am always afraid I'll undercook. They season it really well.
Then, there is this place, which is just awesome:

It's a four-course fondue dinner - good and fun!
And, of course, there are the coffee shops that let you make your own S'mores. But, personally, I don't think a smore's a smore unless you make it yourself anyway.
Happy dining!!! |
