Subject: What are your favorite triathlon/running/swimming/biking NON-training books? Not all of them have lengthy descriptions but that doesn't mean I enjoyed them any less. I have yet to read a SBR book that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. Also read Agassi's Open and even though it's not about SBR I loved it. Currently reading and really enjoying Iron War, about Mike Allen's and Dave Scott's Kona war. Born To Run - amazing book about running with awesome characters. I'm Here To Win by Chris McCormack - I'm in the like the guy camp He's brash, assertive, loud-spoken, a true personality. Can't Swim, Can't Ride, Can't Run by Andy Holgate - humorous account of an everyday Ironman. Unthinkable by Scott Rigsby - first double amputee to do Kona. Staying the Course by Dick Beardsley - great account of his running career. Once a Runner by John Parker. The Long Run by Matt Long - debilitating accident, finished a marathon, my first SBR book. Duel under the Sun - Beardsley vs. Salazar. I devoured this book. Two days to read it. Convinced me that you can push yourself far enough that you will never again be the same. It sounds like both men never fully recovered from the effort. It's Not About The Bike - really enjoyed Lance's book Edited by GatorDeb 2012-01-10 3:41 PM
