Subject: RE: Basic Cell Phone PlanMNHockey - 2012-10-05 10:00 AM If you travel, be careful. My husband carries an AT&T phone in one pocket and Verizon in the other. One for work and one for personal. When he travels for work, he routinely does not have AT&T service though he does spend time in small town USA. The Verizon phone always has enough signal to make a phone call or send a text. On more than one occasion, he's had to use his personal phone for work because it actually had service. We live in a big city. There are AT&T coverage problems all over town and we don't want to talk about the problems with budget carriers. The budget plans are good, but he coverage is not half as good as Verizon. We have had similar conversations about switching and then realize that Verizon coverage is 1000X better than everybody else. this is why i feel stuck with verizon. i travel far too much to count on virgin mobile, t-mobile, or even AT&T, although it seems like AT&T is working hard to improve that. |
