A little while ago our very own turqy was nice enough to make up a bunch of triathlon wristbands, reminiscent of the Yellow Livestrong type thing. Many of you, myself, included did not get in on the deal and he was not able to make a new order. So, I am here to carry the torch...so to speak. With Mike's help, I have contacted the same people that made them last time to get details. I also contacted another company for a different type of wristband, in case anyone is interested. The details are below. If any of you would like to participate, please feel free to respond here. Just some ground rules though...taken from Mike's vast experience....the bands will be sold at cost +shipping (which might be around $0.75 ea or so). I will make absolutely nothing off of this venture, just wanted to possibly help out some kindred spirits. Silicone "Livestrong"-type wristbands - minimum order is 20 - cost is $2.00 eaLast color selected was royal blue but we can change it this time so give me your preference. They have the swim, bike, run logos on one side and say "Triathlete" on the other side. OR Titanium "Golfer" type wristband-minimum order is 20 - cost is $15 ea. This also has the swim, bike, run logos although they are slightly different from the silicone one. Pix for both are attached. If you have any questions, please let me know. I'd like to place an order by the 22nd of July or so.
