just got back from a nice 30 mile bike ride...doozy of a rain storm partway through, but no thunder/lightening, so I figured to keep going (plus, I was like 13 miles from my car when it started...lol)

Did a 30 mile ride today, my longest bike ride to date! Went to the lake to get in an OWS but the entire park is flooded. Parking lot, change rooms, playground, picnic and BBQ area, beach and the restrooms (eeeeew) all of it...under water. There's been a lot of rain here lately, and last year the course was altered because of flooding, but this was a LOT more water. Emailed the race director and looks like they're going to try and come up with something, but likely it will be cancelled. Was wearing my bathing suit so I went to the pool instead.

90 minute run....94 - 95 degrees.....please shoot me.

I feel you - that was the weather for the triathlon that I volunteered at this weekend - it was insane...mid 90's temp, with 90+ % humidity - I don't know how the athletes did it - I was melting and not even racing

Welcome to my (school year) world. I call those runs, especially if they involve speed work, NDE runs. That's short for "near death experience".
Enjoying the reward for suffering now: about 75km of biking in paradise, otherwise known as the Drauradweg between Innichen and Lienz, Austria.
Can't wait to log Monday (today) as it involved all three sports in paradise!
