Regular ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Just got a Front 60 and Rear 90. Look great, good value. I just got mine on Friday, threw them on, did a sprint on Saturday, so don't have a good idea on performance improvement at this point. |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() i've had a set of Flo 90's since last november and have had no issues with them. tons of great reviews out there for them too... if you are in the market for a wheel set and don't want to spend a lot these are a great option. |

Member![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() There are at least a few reviews online of their wheels that are all seemingly very positive. I don't have them personally, but would like to get some when I can justify the expense. Are there better wheels out there? Of course, but with a higher cost. But for the money, they sure seem to be of excellent value from everything I've found. There was a one-pager in the most recent issue of Triathlete Magazine on these guys and Flo Cycling...they are definitely getting some positive publicity in the tri world. |

New user ![]() ![]() | ![]() The only negative is that the black braking surface wears away pretty quickly if you do a race in the rain. Other than that we haven't has any issues with our 60/90 set. |

Extreme Veteran ![]() ![]() | ![]() I have a 60\90 setup. The bearings are awesome. These wheels just keep rolling. I love that I can roll by some of my friends (same weight) on the downhills. They ride on some of the more popular brands. Yep... downside is the paint has come off the brake track. Oh well. |

Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() What is the reason you can't just order a set- are they hard to come by? |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() there's a forum thread over on slowtwitch with literally hundreds of positive reviews. Looks like those guys have made some excellent wheels. Only downside is that you need to order them when they have their next bucket load of wheels being made, and then wait. But, they're at a great price and likely perform, aerodynamically, right there with the best from HED or Zipp.
you do get to pick your color.
oh, other downside is that they wont' accept a powertap. |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I have a set of 90/90 with a Wheelbuilder cover. LOVE these things. Picked them up used over on slowtwitch over last winter and have used them in a HIM, two sprints, and two Oly's this year. Smooth and fast, for a solid price! |

They sell out right away and are only available when new shipments come in ( Pre-Orders). I got a 60/90 and have the same sentiment as everyone else. They are awesome, especially for the price. A little on the heavy side but durable enough to train on them everyday, Which is nice. They seem to be extremely aerodynamic. I think they're the best bang for your buck, hands down. Plus you can match the stickers to your bike color. How sweet is that? +1 in the cool factor. |

Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Did you recently order your wheels? I ordered mine in the spring (order 4?) and there was a section to check off shirt size with each wheel. Thought I was going to get a shirt for each wheel but only received one ![]() |

Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Clempson, I wouldn't be surprised if you contacted them and asked for a tee that they would be more than happy to send you one. Their customer service is excellent. Worth an email |

Mine arrived just a few days ago. Exact same as yours: 60/90 pair with the stealth black colors. Tested them out in a duathlon yesterday. Liking them so far. ... Now where did I put that new t-shirt? |

This is triathlon....if you don't have a t-shirt it didn't happen. |

Regular ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() The company was founded by two twin brothers who are athletes and engineers. They basically set out to start the company from scratch and bring a wheel to the market that could rival the aero performance of top line wheels like Zipps and HED, at a cost that you could afford without taking out a 2nd mortgage. If you follow their blog about how they got the company up and running, and how they went about designing, tooling, and testing their wheels, it's really a cool story and inspiring from an entrepenaurial point of view as well. I have a set of 60/90 and am VERY happy with them. The wheels are designed not for weight savings, but for aero. So they aren't the lightest ones on the market. They are made with an aluminum box section rim and a thin carbon shroud, so you get good aero capabilities and fairly bomb proof durability, which makes them ideal for both every day training and racing. They have contracted a factory in China to assemble the wheels, but they are made specifically to their specifications using their own proprietary design components. They have the hubs machined to their specifications, and the carbon shrouds are made on molds that they designed. These are not generic open mold components sourced from the lowest bidder. What's also cool is they have done a few rounds of wind tunnel testing with different tires, and posted the results on how different tires perform on their wheels. They also showed the results of their wheels compared to a few other popular competitors to give you a reference point. The reason you can't just order them any time is because they are working with a 3rd party contract manufacturer in China and they have the wheels built in batches. I'm guessing that since they are a self funded startup, they probably don't have the funds to just start making thousands of wheels on demand. So basically once every few months they build a batch of a few hundred sets at a time. If you get on their mailing list then they will send you an email a few days in advance of when the ordering can take place (right down to the exact minute they will go on sale). It's almost like ordering concert tickets the day they go on sale. You have to be waiting by your computer and the minute they go on sale, you place your order. Their popularity has grown significantly so every time they have a build, they pretty much sell out within hours or even minutes. Usually the rear disc wheels go within a couple minutes, with the 60's and 90's going soon afterwards. Check on slowtwitch. There are a few threads on these wheels and a lot of happy customers. Also there are a couple videos on Youtube. |

Regular ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Another happy Flo customer. I have a 60/60 set and love them. I plan on getting a set of 30s and a disk. They also have great customer service. Sign up for their next pre-order (this is not a commitment to buy anything), and you'll get an email with all the details about a week before the next order. It's something of a mad rush when the pre-order starts, usually at 12pm central. The disks and 90s go quickly, and I think the first batch of 30s went pretty quickly. But they have orders every 6 weeks or so, and they told me that frequency will increase in 2014. |

New user ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Im thinking about getting a 60/90 set, what kind of speed increase am I looking at? Will this improve handling or diminish it? Im a newb when it comes to wheels/spinny things. |

Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() A very satisfied customer here. I have the 60/90 setup. They're wider than most so brake adjustment takes some finesse but this really isn't a downside as much as is just something different to adjust to. I'm a fairly light rider (145) but am constantly amazed that when others are pedaling downhills I'm passing them by without an ounce of effort. I didn't see any others at the Hawaii HIM but finally saw someone else with the same setup at the Vineman HIM this past weekend. From my perspective it's always great to see affordable innovation without the big brand price tag. |

Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() What is the reason to go for a 60/90 set up as I see most of you have? Will it be the same to have a 60/60 than a 60/90 if I plan on using a cover for my back wheel for racing? |

Without the cover, the 90 will perform better than the 60 on the back. It'll be nearly identical with the cover on the back. The reason for the shallower front is increased stability in cross winds with nearly no performance penalty (and in some cases, the 60 is faster than the 90). |
