Subject: RE: ROAD IDBF got me the ankel one for Christmas, and got a wrist one for himself as well. Being diabetic, I like having something that spells it out. I wear my Medic Alert bracelet at all times (can't seem to get the fecker off anyways- they adult proofed it ), but having the Road ID is nice as well. I just have my Name, where I live, home phone, dad's cell phone, then NKA- Diabetic T1, and then Insulin Pump.
I wore it a lot when I was abroad, simply because no one knew about my condition and I was traveling alone most of the time. Sometimes I wore it, othertimes I had it clipped to my treking pack. |
