According to an email reply I got from Melody via the IMFL website, the tickets are $25 for the "carbo" and $30 for the awards (banquets).   They accept cash or checks.

Okay so we're all meeting at the banquet on Thursday.  Should we all post pictures here so we know what everyone looks like?  Or do we all just look for Aaron and Haley sprawled out across some banquet tables saving them for all of us?

Don't know if everyone saw this in the other thread  (see below) but we're planning on meeting Thursday morning at 7:30am for an OWS.  Meet at the bag check in at the Boardwalk Resort.

If anyone is staying at Gulf Crest, we're going to meet at the office at 7:15am to walk over together.

Hey all- just checking this thread for the pre race meetings. We'll meet up Thursday am for the open water swim.
This is gonna be a hoot trying to figure out who's who..there are only gonna be 2,500 racers down there! I'll look for where the Gulf Crest Condo'sa are. I am at the Summit, which is down about a quarter of a mile from the Boardwalk. Anyone know which side of the Boardwalk the Gulf Crest Condo's are on???

last time i was in PCB i was pretty drunk all the time. it will be wierd being there again.
I have other club people to meet and I will be wearing my club t shirt....www.hvtc.net
this is what the logo looks like, I will probably look just as tired from not sleeping!

BTW-this was at Timberman in NH!

This is me and my boy after Gulf Coast Tri last May. My hair is just a bit longer...If he is with me, he's 6'2 and won't be wearing a wet suit!

Thanks for organizing Aaron! I'll be there for sure to get my chow on and meet all my "internet friends" in person! Haha!

Now that I think about it, I'll probably head over there with you and Haley, and the rest of the people staying at the Jess-rented house!

I'm up for post-race drinks on race night.  But my flight home is out of Tampa the next afternoon so I can't do much more than breakfast the next day.


Post Race drinks???? Heck, when I cross that finish line and get dragged off by the finish line attendants to get some food in me, quick shower and hope to have at least 3 hours left to watch the rest of the finishers come in...will definately be putting down a beer or two.

I really want to stick around and cheer people on- especially those who barely make the 17 hours.  Although I don't know how i'll feel afterwards.
