Ummmm…. hold my beer.

Harvey J. Miller, 43, who has no legs, steered the 1985 Chevrolet truck while Edwin H. Marzinske, 55, operated the brake and gas pedals, according to a report from the Colby/Abbotsford police.

Miller, who was sitting in the driver's seat, admitted he'd had too much to drink but argued that he wasn't really operating the truck since he had no legs to push the pedals, the report said. He received a citation for a third drunken driving offense.

Marzinske was cited for a second drunken driving offense.

Both men also were cited for driving after their licenses had been revoked.

A third man in the truck, also drunk, walked himself home after the Aug. 18 traffic stop, police said.

That is ridiculously funny. 

"Ok, here he comes, let me do the talking"

The funniest thing is if the driver kept his yap shut his buddy wouldn't have gotten a DUI.  BUt you just know that they tried to explain it to the cop, as if this would make sense AND be ok. 

"But see, sinsh he wash doing the pedalsh, I wudn't really operatating the vehicular, ossifer."

And can you picture them in the bar before hand? 

"No, here's what we do.  I'll steer, and you do the pedals.  That way neither one of us is really driving so they can't give either one of us a DUI.  It's brilliant!"

I guarantee that at least one of them was wearing camouflage.  And suspenders that are marked like a big yellow tape measure.

So, this kind of article makes everyone believe that all us Wisconsinites are a bunch of beer-guzzling knuckleheads, doesn't it?
