Hi all,

Apologies again for the delay in getting these results posted, this will be short and sweet but I do want to thank EVERYONE who took part in the challenge and to the good sports who are showing us their legs this month!

Congratulations to EVERYONE who took up the challenge and whether you missed your goal, hit your goal, exceeded your goal, or had to pull out due to illness or injury you are a winner because you tried And no one ever achieved anything without tking that first step!

So here are the final results:

=1 (all reaching or exceeding 100%) Bad Omens, Black Magic, Creepy Crawlies, Goblins and Gargolyes, The Living Dead, Poison Apples, Things That Go Bump in the Night, Vampires AND Werewolves

2. Monster Mash (98.5%)

3. Purple People Eaters: (97.9%)

A HUGE thank you to everyone who inspired, posted and got involved in making the challenge so supportive for everyone involved - that is what this is really all about!

And a personal thank you to the team captains for holding it all together It made my job a lot easier.

I'm just learning how much work is required to organize these. And this month, we "only" have 97 people, as compared to the 140+ that you had to organize last month!

Aaaw thanks girlies... i get a buzz out of it too! Honestly its so inspirational to see so many people achieve!!!

And Dee, you are doing a terrific job this month!!! The google spreadsheet stuff is phenomenal!

Cat, thanks so much for running such an awesome challenge. In September I ran just over 37 miles, and it was the most mileage I'd ever had in a month. In October I ran 91.35 miles, and it was all thanks to the challenge. I had such a supportive team, and I stuck to my training program better than I do without support. I can honestly say that even though my team "lost" I say I won.

I agree! October challenge was definitely the "Cat's Meow".... Thanks you for CATering to our needs! Because of you we did not have a "CAT-astrophy"... I mean, had it not been for this challenge, many of us would be CATatonic in font of the TV... Now a lot of us are ready for the CATwalk!

Thank you for all the hard work you did for last month's challenge.  You did a superb job and even corresponded to many of the team players - in of itself takes quite a bit of time.

It was a great time being a part of that challenge and you made it that much more fun!

THANK YOU CAT for organizing us, and to all of the awesome BT Peeps who inspired us through this... especially my Black Magic teammates!  My previous highest run volume month had been about 51 miles... then last month, I topped 66.    Now, if my half-marathon time on November 18 reflects that, I'll be even happier!
