Gator Grad 1994 had to vote for the Gators but recent history is not in our favor......We have a very talented team but can they step up to beat the Seminoles....I am not sure but I will be cheering load that they do....

My beloved 'Noles should win. However, after watching Va. Tech. destroy Maryland last night, I have even less confidence in the play calling of Jeff Bowden. (Fire him this instant!) Our defense is top notch which is great because our offense can't score. I figure the "D" has to keep the Gators under 20 points for us to have a shot. Thankfully we're at home. However, Leak is the real deal and he can get the ball in the endzone, whereas Jeff Bowden has no concept of how to move the ball.

So Seminole nation what happens if we loose to both Miami and UF in the same year, and average the lowest points per game and yards per game since 1981 and have the worst 3rd down conversion percentange in the nation. Sounds like the someone should loose their job!

I voted for FSU, but only if the following happens:

  1. FSU Defense holds UF to "0" points.
  2. FSU Defense scores 14 points.
  3. Jeff Bowden is mugged and knocked unconscious in the parking lot on the way into the coaches booth.

It is a sad time to be a Seminole.  We have a Ferrari in the garage and no one knows how to drive the damn thing.

That would be interesting to see... I've heard stories that the FSU band hazes their freshman members. They even have gotten caught one night by the FSU police Dep't.

Lane, thanks for the condolences.  You're a real sweetheart.  Okay, I'm back and ready to take my lumps.  FSU choked again.  Lets see, going by the list above:

  1. FSU Defense holds UF to "0" points.   (Nope, couldn't stop the run)
  2. FSU Defense scores 14 points.   (Defense played their hearts out, but gave back turnovers with penalties).
  3. Jeff Bowden is mugged and knocked unconscious in the parking lot on the way into the coaches booth.  (uhg, in the first half, we were 1st down and goal from the 5.  The geniuses in the booth call no less than 3 pass plays when we possess the best tandem of running backs in FSU's history!  Then, the kicker who is 6 for 6 comes in the game and shanks a short one.  In my mind, that's when we gave the game to those lowly swamp rats).

And, I did forget one item on the list, as Lane has so kindly reminded me.  That is, (4) FSU kickers actually make an important field goal.

Its going to be a long winter....

That's right!!!  I've got a whole year to enjoy the win!! And believe me, I'll remind you frequently!!!!    I realize that our overall season sucked, BUT to beat the Noles redeemed it all!!   It's just a happy day in the life of a Gator!!

AND the Gator band rocked too.  ESPN gave a few camera shots, but they too are  intimidated by the Pride of the Sunshine!!!!   :}}}}

well here is my reply to all the banter......the SEC is the best football confernece in America.....bar none......all we have left now a some pretty meaningless bowls......the Vols have a chance but I really doubt they can derail the train that Auburn is.....FSU is a offensive coordinator and a kicker from being a pretty dad gum good team......but the offensive coodinator will not change as long a daddy is at fsu............so lets look ahead to next year if we get a decent coaching staff the county better watch out because the talent level has gone up dramatically since the ole zooker has been in Gainesville.....the list is long but distinguished but you have to look at linebacker u next year if Crowder does not go pro......best of luck to the Vols (you will need it)....remember that UGA is and will always be Florida's biggest rival.......now lets go train basketball season is starting up

The game was horrible, especially from the 12th row in the student end zone. The gator fans weren’t that bad, but the game was just down right HORRIBLE! I will wear my FIRE JEFF pin proudly!

--Who does a half back toss when it is 3rd down and less then a foot???????? Lets see, we need one foot to go... Lets throw it back and give us at least two yards to run! YOU BA$TARD JEFF!!
